High School Retreat

The annual Fall Retreat for 9th – 12th graders is an important and special time of the year when students begin to connect with each other and to the Lord in a deeper way.  This is a 3-day/2-night experience at Living Waters Bible Camp, chaperoned by our high school teachers and parent volunteers.  Our prayer is that students will make or renew a personal commitment to live completely surrendered to Christ.  We ask parents to make this retreat a priority of prayer and support in your family.

In many ways, this trip sets the tone and atmosphere for our students for the rest of the school year.  Our students may encounter challenges at camp that stretch them – physically, socially and spiritually – and our desire is that it brings them a sense of accomplishment and encourages them to set new goals to meet throughout the year.  While there are some challenges that can seem daunting at first, when students learn to work together in unity as a team, as well as giving their all individually, it is so exciting to see the Biblical principles of teamwork playing out for our students.  Our vision for this retreat is that students will come back having built a stronger sense of community.
